I make abstract paintings for people who find beauty in imperfection. My process is intuitive, layered, and experimental, using paint and mixed materials in ways that allow the work to evolve through discovery. I build up, scrape away, alter, and rework surfaces, allowing accidents, edits, and traces of what came before to remain part of the final painting. The interaction between materials often leads the work somewhere unexpected. I try to leave room for something I didn’t see coming. Rather than seeking a perfect outcome, I aim to create paintings that feel honest, balanced, and alive.
